Vela Imprese invests directly in equity of Start Up and Small / Mid Cap companies. Vela co-invests with other professional investors in companies that require a growth plan and / or an industrial restructuring process.

• Vela Imprese invests its own financial resources and those belonging to other private investors forming, each time, a “private equity pool” to purchase majority stake or a qualified minority.
• We invest either in MBI /LBO or in development equity for technological start up companies.
• Target companies are generally Small and Medium Enterprises with turnover less than € 30 Mio
• Differently from an institutional investor, Vela Imprese has no predetermined time horizon and can optimize its own timing allowing the company to reap all benefit from its industrial plan.
• Vela Imprese partners are actively involved in the participated companies’ operation.
