Guido Carissimo

A graduate of Bocconi University and Boston University (BA and MA), from 1982 to 1997 Guido worked for Pirelli Group in Italy and Germanyand, from 1992, he was the MD for Metzeler Reifen GmbH, the motorcycle tyre world leader company, managing the motorcycle tyre division for Pirelli. Subsequently, he successfully completed two LBI operations in Caravans International with PE fund Permira and Trigano, a leading European manufacturer of motorhomes. Since 2005, as a founding member of Vela Capital (subsequently Vela Imprese) he acted as Advisor to the PE Fund “Dimensione Network” managed by Aletti Private Equity SGR (Banca Popolare di Verona e Novara). Guido participated in the development of Geogastock, major player in gas storage in Italy. Since 2008 he has been engaged full time in the turnaround process of GHE / Ellamp spa. He also served as CEO of Infrastrutture SpA between 2010 and 2011. Since 2007 he is member of the Board of Trigano, listed on the Paris Stock Exchange. Since 2012 Senior Advisor to Halder, a PE German Fund specialized in European SME. He currently holds corporate positions in: Trigano (listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, Supervisory Board), Lucart Group (independent Director), BMB Manifattura Borsa (Chairman) and Coltibuono Holding (Chairman).

Marco Pittini

Marco graduated in Engineering at Cambridge University (UK), worked for IBM in the USA and Italy and, after obtaining an MBA degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (F), was with McKinsey & Co. from 1988 to 1992. From 1992 to 1999 in RCS Editori, where he also served as General Manager of the Books Division. In 1999 he was one of the founding partners of e.Biscom Group (today Fastweb SpA), listed on the “New Market” of the Milan Stock Exchange, as Vice President of Editorial Content. Since 2002, as a member of the Vela Capital (subsequently Vela Imprese), he acted as Advisor to the PE Fund ”Dimensione Network” managed by Aletti Private Equity SGR (Banca Popolare di Verona e Novara) . In 2010, he successfully concluded the direct management of a process of “turnaround” of Vela’s invested Company, Ellamp Spa. Since 2012 Senior Advisor to Halder, a PE German Fund specialized in European SME. As of 2014, along Long Term Partners (an OCC Strategy Consultants Company), a leading management consulting firm, he coordinates projects in the sectors of media, digital strategy and cultural heritage.
